Description
These chocolate strawberry frozen yogurt bites are an easy healthy dessert made with just 3 ingredients. Inspired by viral fruit yogurt clusters, they’re creamy, fruity, chocolatey, and perfect for a refreshing sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh diced strawberries
- 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt
- 12 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
- Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix the diced strawberries with the strawberry Greek yogurt until well combined.
- Drop the yogurt mixture into small clusters onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart. You should get about 8 yogurt bites.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and freeze until the yogurt bites are completely solid, about 30 minutes.
- Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and add the coconut oil if using. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Let it sit at room temperature for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the freezer. Using a fork, dip each bite into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place it back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
- Let the chocolate harden for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for the best texture and flavor.
- An ice cream scoop or cookie scoop makes it easier to portion even yogurt bites.
- Make sure the yogurt bites are fully frozen before dipping them in the melted chocolate.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze them in a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month.
