Description

These chocolate strawberry frozen yogurt bites are an easy healthy dessert made with just 3 ingredients. Inspired by viral fruit yogurt clusters, they’re creamy, fruity, chocolatey, and perfect for a refreshing sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh diced strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
  • Sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the diced strawberries with the strawberry Greek yogurt until well combined.
  3. Drop the yogurt mixture into small clusters onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart. You should get about 8 yogurt bites.
  4. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and freeze until the yogurt bites are completely solid, about 30 minutes.
  5. Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and add the coconut oil if using. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Let it sit at room temperature for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the freezer. Using a fork, dip each bite into the melted chocolate until fully coated, then place it back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  8. Let the chocolate harden for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for the best texture and flavor.
  • An ice cream scoop or cookie scoop makes it easier to portion even yogurt bites.
  • Make sure the yogurt bites are fully frozen before dipping them in the melted chocolate.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze them in a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month.
