Description

Ground Turkey Rice Bowls with Bang Bang Sauce are a quick, flavorful, and balanced meal made with seasoned turkey, rice, fresh vegetables, and a creamy spicy-sweet sauce.


Ingredients

  • Ground Turkey Mixture:
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil (or cooking oil)
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1–2 Tbsp sriracha
  • 2–3 Tbsp chicken broth
  • 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • Bang Bang Sauce:
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • ½–1 Tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Rice Bowl Options:
  • Rice
  • Shredded carrots
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Edamame
  • Pickled onions
  • Avocado
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Mix all bang bang sauce ingredients in a bowl and chill.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet and brown ground turkey.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sriracha, broth, honey, and spices.
  4. Simmer 2–3 minutes until flavors combine.
  5. Add cornstarch to thicken if needed.
  6. Stir in a little bang bang sauce (optional).
  7. Assemble bowls with rice, vegetables, turkey, and drizzle sauce on top.

Notes

  • Store turkey and sauce separately for best freshness.
  • Add extra broth if mixture becomes dry.
