Description
This rich and creamy Hot Chocolate Fudge is made with hot chocolate mix, two kinds of chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and fluffy mini marshmallows. It’s an easy no-bake holiday treat that’s perfect for gifting or sharing with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 hot chocolate packets (or 6 tablespoons hot chocolate mix)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, butter, sweetened condensed milk, and hot chocolate mix in a double boiler over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 45-second intervals, stirring between each interval until melted.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in 2 cups of the mini marshmallows.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows and gently press them into the fudge.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Slice into squares and serve.
Notes
- Stir the chocolate constantly while melting to prevent scorching.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- This fudge also freezes well for up to 3 months.
- For cleaner slices, use a sharp knife warmed with hot water and wipe it clean between cuts.
