Description

No Bake Peach Crisp is a quick and easy dessert made with tender cinnamon peaches and a buttery toasted oat crumble. Ready in just 15 minutes, it’s the perfect summer treat without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (600 g) fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced peaches, lemon juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes until the peaches are tender and the juices have thickened into a glossy glaze.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats are toasted and the sugar is caramelized.
  5. Remove the oat mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Spoon the warm peach mixture into serving bowls or one large serving dish.
  7. Top immediately with the toasted oat crumble and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for the best texture.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra-special dessert.
  • Enjoy immediately while the oat topping is crisp.
  • Leftover peach filling can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
