  • For the Oreo Crust:
  • 2 cups (266 g) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 stick (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
  • 2 cups (480 ml) cold heavy cream
  • 16 oz (455 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (113 g) confectioners’ sugar, sifted
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Red food coloring
  • For the Topping:
  • 6 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the crushed Oreo cookies with the melted butter until evenly moistened.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Freeze for 20 minutes.
  3. Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until completely smooth.
  5. Add the sour cream, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and red food coloring. Beat until smooth and well combined.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture until fully incorporated.
  7. Spread the filling evenly into the chilled Oreo crust and smooth the top.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours or overnight until fully set.
  9. Before serving, whip the remaining heavy cream with the sugar until stiff peaks form.
  10. Pipe the whipped cream around the edges of the cheesecake and sprinkle the center with crushed Oreo cookies.
  11. Slice and serve chilled.
