Description

Spicy Thai Pasta Salad is a bold, tangy, and slightly sweet pasta dish inspired by Thai flavors, packed with sesame, soy, honey, and chili heat.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup sesame oil
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion


Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and place in a large bowl.
  2. Heat vegetable oil and sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add red pepper flakes and cook for 2 minutes to infuse flavor.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, and salt, then mix and remove from heat.
  5. Pour sauce over pasta and toss well to coat evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, mix in cilantro, peanuts, and green onions.

Notes

  • Best when chilled overnight for deeper flavor.
  • You can adjust spice level by changing red pepper flakes.
